Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer also writes. Her most famous character is Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she's directed, produced and starred for her own films Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson is the son born on January 8th 1977, of Edward and Diane Benson. Her younger sister is Danielle and is an artist. Her father is Jewish and her mother was educated Southern Baptist Benson grew up at a Reform synagogue in Alabama. Benson started appearing in different movies, such as The Killing Jar. Benson has also been featured in TV shows such as Morganville The Series. On camera, she employed her talents as a writer in writing The Ghosts of Albion and direct projects like 2010's Drones. Buffy says that she took the time to count and find the Slayers, she discovered at least 1800 Slayers around the globe, of which 500 are associated to The Scooby Gang. Slayers are now able to be revived as they reach an appropriate level of maturity. Soledad, for example was awakened when she turned sixteen. Ruth Connell has been cast as Rowena in Season 10 Supernatural. According to reports the actress is an old-school mystery witch.
